Echo 360 have made further improvements to the Engage lecture recording service with the introduction of a new user interface called Universal Capture.

These improvements will affect all teaching rooms with the exception of large lecture theatres, which will retain the 2018-19 interface for the immediate future. Staff unsure of which system is in use in the room in which they are timetabled to teach can refer to the list of locations of each type of system.

The new interface will make it quicker and easier for all staff to use the full functionality of the system.

Information Services are offering training sessions to give staff the opportunity to learn more and try out the new interface. These will take place as follows:

• Wednesday 11 September 2019, 2-4 pm, A01 Highfield House, University Park Campus
• Wednesday 18 September 2019, 2-4 pm, C15 Chemistry, University Park Campus
• Wednesday 25 September 2019, 2-4 pm, B14 ESLC, University Park Campus
