Office of Global Engagement joins External Relations

August 22nd, 2018

The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) works across the University to facilitate and increase our levels of global engagement and implement the global engagement strategy.

Its move to External Relations (ER) will create synergies and improve alignment of the University’s global operations — bringing together OGE’s focus on global partnerships with ER’s focus on international student recruitment, global affairs and public relations.

The move will enable the OGE to draw on the support of ER in running global engagement campaigns while at the same time incorporating OGE’s general international intelligence into ER projects and activities.

The OGE management structure remains the same, with the office headed up by John Quirk as Director, supported by Gail Armistead as Associate Director with responsibility for student mobility partnerships, and Helen Foster as Associate Director with responsibility for international teaching partnerships. Lisa Stocks, Director, Inter-Campus Collaboration, is also part of the team, bringing a focus to this vital area of the University’s international offer.

All contact details remain the same, with the Office remaining on Floor C, Yang Fujia Building, Jubilee Campus (contact extension 84812).
