The records storage facility at King’s Meadow is full and boxes of records that have reached or passed their destruction date will be destroyed.
The records storage facility guidance explains that by assigning a destruction date and depositing the records into the Records Storage Facility you have provided prior approval for the Storage Team to proceed with destruction on that date.
Where records have reached their review date, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the colleague or area responsible for the records, but if no contact has been possible and the box reaches its destruction date, the material will be destroyed in line with the records storage facility guidance.
If you have any concerns or require further advice, please contact your records officer in the first instance.
If you require further assistance please contact the data protection team on data-protection@nottingham.ac.uk.
