#lovelibraries photo competition now open

April 19th, 2018

Share your images of our libraries with us and you could win one of three prizes, plus the chance to get your photo displayed in one of our libraries.

University of Nottingham Libraries and the Students’ Union have teamed up to run a photo competition for current UoN staff and students.

For this competition, we’re asking you to capture what our libraries mean to you, or why you love them.

Whether it’s the external architecture, the interior spaces, the views from the top floor, the people you meet there, or how they support your studies, teaching or research, we’d love to see your photos. We’re looking for a combination of photography skills and interesting subjects. Bonus marks for creativity!

To enter, you must either be:

  • A currently registered student at the University of Nottingham who is not suspended; or
  • A current member of University of Nottingham staff (University Nottingham Libraries staff are eligible to enter but are not eligible for prizes).

Winners will be awarded one of the following prizes:

  • 1st prize: £50
  • 2nd prize: £30
  • 3rd prize: £20

The deadline for entries is 11:59pm, Sunday 13 May 2018.

Find out more, including details of how to enter, at https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/library/photocomp.aspx.
