One of the biggest sporting events in the University calendar is heading to Nottingham in March 2018 thanks to a winning bid by University of Nottingham Sport.
The University of Nottingham has been selected by British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) to host the BUCS Big Wednesday event, where the top university teams will compete in the national championship finals.
With hundreds of participants taking part, BUCS Big Wednesday will be hosted across several campus venues including the new multi-million David Ross Sports Village. Fourteen different sports will be played and the 2017 championship finalists in table tennis, squash, badminton and hockey will all be on the hunt for gold on home soil.
