A call for participants has been issued for the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) ‘How to Read Your Boss’.

This free, online course uses cutting-edge linguistic research and teaches techniques to enhance business communication.

It covers the following topics:

• Language and culture in the workplace
• Language and identity in the workplace
• Effective communication in teams
• Effective management of rapport at work
• The role of non-verbal communication, including body language and gesture
• Language and power in the workplace

This University of Nottingham-developed MOOC commences Monday 05 June.
