Charges introduced for Medilink bus

March 10th, 2017

From Monday 13 March, staff and students will need to pay to use the Medilink bus.

The Medilink is a council-funded hopper bus service that runs between Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital. From Monday 13 March non-NUH staff members will need to pay to use the service. The charge will be £1 per journey if booked in advance using pre-paid Robin Hood tickets or £1.20 if paying in cash.

This charge has been introduced in order to maintain the service, which has been at risk due to council budgets.

More information about this new charge can be found on the Nottingham City Council website. If you have any queries about the new charge or the Medilink service, you can contact the Council here.
