Teaching timetables – a new system for mobile devices

January 24th, 2017

Your personalised teaching timetable for this semester is now available for you to view on calendar apps that you may use on your phone, tablet and other mobile devices.

myCal pulls teaching timetables through to display in your University of Nottingham Office 365 Calendar (or other online calendars). This means that you can access it at any time from your device in a new easy-to-view format. myCal is available for academic staff and students. We are currently introducing students to myCal through newsletters, social media and other news channels so that they are aware of the feature.

To download myCal, go to https://mycal.nottingham.ac.uk on your chosen device(s)*, log in with your University username and password, and follow the download instructions which are provided for Office 365.

Once you’ve downloaded myCal to your device, your online calendar will automatically refresh daily to show your own personal teaching timetable.

If you have any problems downloading or using myCal, please contact the IT Service Desk on 0115 95 16677 or online via the University website.

*At this time myCal cannot be downloaded onto Windows phones.
