SMEs and Corporate Social Responsibility in supply chains

The International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ICCSR) and Nottingham University Business School are hosts for this seminar which is part of a series on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries.

The integration of CSR and SMEs into local, regional, and international supply chains is a debated topic. This seminar critically explores the requirements, contingencies and conflicts of supply chains spanning to and operating in developing/emerging countries. We examine various issues of supply chain governance and inclusive business models, and seek to understand the opportunities, trade-offs, and challenges for embracing multi-dimensional sustainability among SMEs.

The seminar will consist of three themed sessions with papers accepted for:

  • Supply Chain Governance
  • Inclusive Business Models
  • Opportunities and Challenges of Embracing Multi-dimensional Sustainability
