Wheee! Festival is Nottingham Lakeside Arts’ international festival of theatre and dance for children. It will be taking place from Monday 28 May until Sunday 3 June and will culminate in a free Family Weekend in the park.
Activities will include the ever-popular Luminarium, talks from Nottingham’s very own spider woman Dr Sarah Goodacre, and sporting activities including a climbing wall.
Nottingham Lakeside Arts are currently looking for volunteers to help out at the festival in stewarding roles. Responsibilities will include signposting visitors, acting as a shadow artist, assisting artists in delivering their activities, and helping families get involved in all that’s on offer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to pick up new skills working with young children and families.
Shifts will be available on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June, 10am-5.30pm. Lunch will be provided.
