The University of Nottingham Interdisciplinary Centre for Analytical Science (UNICAS) is a cross-faculty initiative providing funding for collaborative projects, focused on research equipment, and analytical science.

UNICAS aims to develop new strategies to solve problems across a broad range of disciplines; resulting in enhanced research capacity and interdisciplinary research.

UNICAS sandpits are informal events, aimed at all academic, research and technical staff, where delegates can;

  • hear about the research projects of others
  • discuss specific research challenges & find solutions to these
  • network & establish new collaborations

Each delegate will be given the opportunity to present one-slide-in-one-minute to either highlight their expertise, research interest, potential area for collaboration and/or research problem.
