Starting university is a hustle and bustle of meeting new people, doing new things, a busy timetable – lots of new experiences!

For our international students and researchers, it’s a new experience in a completely new country. And so we have Family Link, which pairs them with people locally to help give them a warm welcome to their new community. It’s generally one meet-up per term across the academic year, to give a taste of Nottingham and British culture. Visits to museums, Sherwood Pines, tea and biscuits and Sunday roasts are always popular options – but it’s completely up to you what you’d like to do!

Find out more and apply to become a Family Link volunteer today.
