The University of Nottingham Volunteer Awards are held every year to celebrate the impact of our inspirational community of volunteers — and help us say a big “thank you” to those who give their time.
We have five award categories this year, each designed to recognise the amazing actions and efforts our volunteers make to enhance the University experience of our students, transform the lives of those in our local communities and make positive difference to the wider world.
Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help others?
Whether they have volunteered for free on boards, spoken at careers events, been a mentor, provided mock interviews or given guidance for entrepreneurs, we’d love to hear about it!
Nominations are now open and welcomed from all current staff and students. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 1 October.

Can I ask if there are any awards to celebrate volunteers who work on University-led projects? I’m currently working on a project in Geography where we have some fantastic volunteers from the community. Is there any other programme where they can be recognised?
Best wishes
