Medilink and Localink L12 free for 2017/18 academic year

November 15th, 2017

Following the introduction of charges on the Medilink bus service earlier this year, University staff and students will be able to travel for free on Medilink and the Localink L12 bus service from Monday 20 November 2017.

This is a trial arrangement for the remainder of the 2017/18 academic year, following discussions with Nottingham City Council.

Passengers will be required to show their University ID card to the bus driver.

This is great news and will have a very positive impact on University students based at City Hospital!

This is fantastic. Having to travel back and forth everyday is very expensive and adds to the cost of travel, so this is great news. Being stuck at city campus we have limited access to many things and are separated from the rest of the campus so this is a good step forward to help us staff that work there. Thank you and hope this continues past the end of the academic year.
