Learn more about project management

October 13th, 2017

A series of ‘Welcome to Project Management’ sessions has been announced for anyone who is new to managing projects, would like to know more about project management, or would like more information about the support available to them as a project manager.

The series of informal meetings is being run by the Strategic Change Unit (SCU). The SCU has recently launched a new Project Management Framework on Workspace and begun a Project Management Community of Practice and is trying to increase links between colleagues, share ideas about project management and develop our practices across the University.

Attendees to the Welcome to Project Management meetings will learn about the Project Management Framework, the Project Management Community of Practice and possible mentoring opportunities. Sessions will be held at different locations across our Nottingham campuses, with one session scheduled per term.

The first of these sessions will take place in LG6, Trent Building, University Park from 12:30pm-1:30pm, Wednesday 8 November. Times and locations of the following sessions are to be announced at a later date.

Please note: there is no need to register for these events – you can just turn up on the day.
