In order to provide students and staff with access to the latest web technologies using a fast, secure and supported internet browser, Information Services will soon be upgrading all compatible PCs and laptops across the University to Internet Explorer 11 (IE11).
The work to upgrade University PCs and laptops from Internet Explorer 9 to IE11 will take place in phases during the evenings between Saturday 25 July and Sunday 09 August.
During this time, you should not notice any interruption, but you will need to restart your computer when prompted to do so on screen after the upgrade on your machine has taken place.
In most cases, the upgrade to IE11 will be a seamless transition, however there may be a small number of systems that are not compatible with the new web platform. If you do experience any issues in accessing systems or services after your upgrade to IE11, please contact the IT Service Desk
