Do you have unwanted items you can donate?

February 26th, 2015

The Global Market Bring and Buy sale on Thursday, 19 March (11am-2pm Portland Building) will offer quality second-hand goods, with proceeds going to WaterAid.

Can you help?

Do you have some unwanted items you could donate? Is it time for spring clear out? We are asking for donations in order to host the first Global Market. Our intention is that different charities can benefit each time a Global Market event takes place. The ‘bring and buy’ sale format depends on the donations and generosity of staff and students and the local community so please contribute if you can and get your family and friends involved too!

What can you donate?

We are happy to receive clean, well-cared for items in good condition that can still be of use and value. Clothes (including surplus hangers), cookware, homeware, sport or travel items, books, DVDS, baby and children’s items are all welcome.

Where should you take your items?

We have several drop-off points and upon request we can also arrange collections (contact us using the details below).

Our drop off points are:

• University Park – Student Services Centre, B Floor, Portland Building
• Jubilee Campus – International Office, C Floor, Yang FUJIA Building
• QMC – School of Health Sciences, School Office, A floor South Block Link
• Sutton Bonington Campus – Student Services Centre, The Barn

What is the donation period?

Please donate items by 4pm on Friday 13 March.
