Bids for funding are being welcomed for projects designed to enhance sustainability on campus or in the local community.

The Environment Initiative Fund, held by the University’s Environment Committee, has an overall budget of £100,000 available to award to student or staff-led sustainability projects in 2016/17.

If you have an idea on how to make the University or local community a more sustainable place to work, live and study, you’re invited to apply.

Previously funded projects include:

  • Suite of films on sustainability at the University
  • Debate on divesting from fossil fuels
  • Desktop study on sustainability-related modules at the University

The final round of funding for this academic year is open now and the deadline for applications is Friday 2 June.
