Applications for Stoneygate Children’s Brain Tumour Research Fund

April 13th, 2017

The Stoneygate Trust supports a competitive internal grant programme called the Stoneygate Children’s Brain Tumour Research Fund. The fund supports interdisciplinary work which takes an integrative approach towards understanding the causes, treatment and outcomes of childhood brain tumours. The fund is currently calling for applications.

The fund incorporates two grant schemes: the Career Catalyst Awards and the Proof of Concept Awards. More details can be found on the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre webpages.

February 2018 has been proposed as the next deadline for submission of new applications and the Stoneygate Trust has requested an indication of the number and breadth of applications expected in response to this funding call.

If you are considering applying to this call (updated guidance documents will be available soon), please email both Emma Campbell and Dawn Hazle by 5pm Tuesday 18 April. You will be under no obligation to apply, but it will be a useful gauge to report significant interest back to the trust at this stage.

Please contact Emma and Dawn with the following details:

  1. Name of proposed PI
  2. Proposed title of application
  3. Specify whether the application would be for the Career Catalyst or Proof of Concept strand
  4. A couple of sentences on what the research would aim to address (no more than one short paragraph please)
