APM Conference 2017 — update

November 30th, 2017

As many of you are hopefully already aware, a conference for all APM staff (levels 4 and above) will take place on Wednesday 20 December.

The main themes of the conference will be networking, change in Higher Education and enhancing your professional identity as a member of the University’s APM staff. These themes will be covered in the plenary sessions. Career and wellbeing support resources available at the University will be showcased in breakout sessions.

We are also delighted to be able to announce that the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor will be speaking and joining us for lunch on the day, along with several of the University’s Directors who will be giving plenary or breakout sessions.

An outline schedule for the day can be viewed by logging into the conference website and clicking through to the Conference Schedule tab. Please note that the finer details and timings for the day are still subject to change and will be updated on this website during the next few weeks leading up to the event.

Information for nearly all of the breakout sessions can be found by clicking on each session’s title: this will also take you through to that session’s booking page.

Places at the APM Conference are limited to 500, so please make sure you register early via the conference website. Attendees are also asked to book their breakout sessions ahead of the day itself — this action is required in addition to booking your conference place.

The conference will be held in Business School South on Jubilee Campus, 9:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesday 20 December.

Please note: A separate event for APM staff levels 1-3 will be held in spring 2018. Details of this will be distributed early in 2018.
